What makes your products different?
Sugar Maple South is small-batch and hands-on from start to finish. Every item is made, labeled, and packed with care in our home studio—built for daily use, not mass production.

Are your products handmade?
Yes. Every product is handmade in small batches. Handcrafted in Tennessee.

Do you offer unscented options?
Yes. We offer select products in an unscented option when available. If you don’t see it listed, feel free to reach out and ask.

How strong are your scents?
Most scents are balanced—noticeable, but not overpowering. If you prefer light fragrance, choose unscented when available.

Are your products natural or organic?
We use a thoughtfully chosen mix of plant-based oils, butters, and performance ingredients. “Natural” and “organic” can mean different things to different people, so we list ingredients clearly on every product.

Do you test on animals?
No.

How should I store my soap?
Keep it dry between uses. A draining soap dish or soap saver helps your bar last much longer.

How long will a bar of soap last?
That depends on use and storage, but a bar stored dry between uses lasts significantly longer than one left sitting in water.

My soap looks slightly different than the photos—why?
Because it’s handmade. Color, swirl patterns, and small details can vary slightly between batches.

What’s your return policy?
Due to the nature of bath and body products, we can’t accept returns on opened or used items. If something arrives damaged or there’s an issue with your order, contact us and we’ll make it right.

My order arrived damaged—what should I do?
Email us within 48 hours with a photo of the packaging and the item, and we’ll resolve it quickly.

When will my order ship?
Most orders ship within 3–5 business days. During launches or high-volume weeks, processing may take a little longer.

Do you offer custom orders or gifting?
Yes—especially for gifting sets. If you need a specific quantity, scent mix, or gift-ready presentation, email us and we’ll plan it.
